Greetings Marcia Buker Families!
We are looking forward to welcoming our students back to school tomorrow, Monday, February 24th! I hope you have enjoyed some extra family time over school vacation week, and especially, some outdoor recreation in the snow!
During the week before vacation, students and staff celebrated our 100th day of learning, and Valentine's Day! In typical form, teachers used the opportunities to create engaging learning experiences. Check out the Bobcat Sightings video below for a few scenes from the week.
While students took a break from school, our custodians worked hard over vacation to thoroughly clean floors, surfaces, and vacuum ventilation components. It's amazing what they can accomplish in four days! Thank you to our crew!
As we close out the month of February, we will have a quiet week in terms of events, but we are preparing for an active March. Let's hope the lion roars gently as we begin this busy month, which will kick off with Family Reading Night on the 6th. I've shared all the upcoming events in the Dates and Notices section, so you and your students won't miss any of the March Madness Fun! We hope to see you on Family Reading Night and for parent-teacher conferences!
Until then, may you have a great end to the month!
In partnership with you,
~ Mary

Student PM Pick-up Safety
Despite several recent appeals, we continue to see vehicles parking and moving in front of the school during bus loading in the afternoon.
If you are picking up your child after school, thank you for following these rules:
Park near or in the Houdlette Field lot until the buses have left.
Do not proceed to the front of the school until the buses have left.
Do not park across the street from the school to wait.
Be sure to look behind you on all sides when backing out after picking up your child. Your backup mirror may not give you enough visibility.
